Personal Budgeting - Wants vs. Needs

by Kgrim
(West Virginia)

My husband and I work everyday to maintain an affordable budget. It is a very essential part of a relationship and important in maintaining a decent lifestyle for both us and our children. Always ask yourself if that item you have been wanting is truly a need or just a want. If it is just a want, can you wait to have it until you find it cheaper elsewhere or is it necessary now. Watch your household spending on water usage, lights etc. Clip coupons it only takes a few minutes. Why should you have to pay full price if you don't have to. If you stick to a budget you will expect how much to pay out each month and how much you can save. It also helps when the time comes for making a big purchase or splurging once in a while.
