House Flip Question
What type of fixture is that on the kitchen ceiling?
The black sides of the refrigerator are inevitable unless you get one that is completely wrapped in stainless (and that's too pricey). Blackish counters help to make the black sides fit in. Not sure how you could have boxed it, if there is a passageway adjacent to the refrigerator.
I'm not fond of the trendy top mount bowls - they require fancy faucets that typically don't give "pressure" to the water flow. And those bowls won't have an overflow hole.
You gave a labor number in your site. Did you perform any labor yourself? If so, did you pay yourself for that labor, or will that come back to you in profits?
----------------------------------------------LM Says:The kitchen light is fluorescent. It's a modern finish on the traditional fluorescent light. I like it because it is low profile and nicely finished and is very bright, ideal for kitchens.
I get what Diane says about boxing the fridge. A good woodworker would have been able to figure it out but it would still have been hard to match the existing cabinets.
I am not sure I follow your labor questions. That is basically the combined amount I paid in labor for everything from the tile work to the garage opener installation.
As far as labor myself that is a big NO. I have many skills but manual labor is not one of them. I can take care of small stuff i.e. patching nail holes, touch up paint, changing out an outlet, etc. But I do no work in my houses. I don't do it right and it's just not an efficient use of my time.:-)
