Here's an Example of What Works for Flipping Houses
The “After” Pictures of My First House Flip
Flipping Houses is part of a series on how I Flip This House. You can see the “before” pictures here.
When I was ready to flip this house the most exciting moment was when all the work is done and you are ready to show your house flip. To flip this house I needed it to be beautiful and as you can see from these pictures it was.
I have selected some “before” shots (you can find the rest here) so you can see the dramatic difference in some areas. Although the work was not quick or easy and was not without problems the final results were well worth it.
Remember this?:

Amazing what a bit of paint and pressure washing would do:

When flipping houses you got to "wow" them . This was the view a potential buyer was going to see when first walking in. Also notice the staging touches throughout:

Remember this old , raggedy kitchen?:

We knocked down a wall and opened it up to the living room. New cabinets, new appliances, new countertops and tile floors:

The master bathroom view the way it used to be:

The new master bath. New shower with tiled walls, glass sliding doors, new tiled floors, sinks, faucets, mirrors and lights; and some staging to go along:

Hallway bath:

Master bedroom, new paint throughout, new carpet, new light/fan:

The basement when it was unfinished, looking at the "problem" corner that had to undergo a waterproofing treatment:

More finished basement looking at the section that was treated for mold:

This all looks nice and pretty but did it sell and did I make a profit???
That will be the final part of this series...
