House #4: Fix and Flip “Before” Pictures
Here are the “before” rehab pictures of my latest fix and flip project, House #4. Learn more about House #4.
When looking for a good property to flip a house I am finding that the more damage they have and the worst they smell the easier is to negotiate a good deal. Although that is basic real estate investing saviness, these pictures will let you see exactly what we are dealing with:

20+ year old roof on this one.

Numerous siding and fascia/soffit problems. Due to poor drainage and poor quality siding a lot of siding is rotten and water is leaking into the house.

Hole in kitchen floor, probably due to a leaking refrigerator.

Bonus room/basement

Mold from damaged siding

More mold…

From living room looking out to backyard

Surprisingly enough the cabinets where in really good shape so we are keeping them but replacing the countertops and appliances.

Living room

The irony in this picture is that those filthy carpets have been recently steam cleaned…WTF??

Master bedroom with a busted window, those dark brown aluminum windows are a pain to find replacement parts for...we'll see.

Lovely wall paper in master bath.
